Eco-shout has been designed as a catalyst to action for Australia's green community, those campaigning for environmental and Indigenous justice and a
sustainable future.

Eco-shout aims to provide individuals with information, points of contact, and opportunities for involvement in environmental activities and groups.

In doing this, Eco-shout aims to increase the visibility of environmental groups by giving them a profile on a website that is viewed by thousands of environmentally concerned students, activists and individuals, as well as people just beginning to explore their environmental awareness.

The effectiveness of Eco-shout as an agent of change will grow with the involvement of environment groups. Environment groups can benefit from Eco-shout in the following ways:

Carried out a successful action or had a campaign win? Inspire community action. Send us your press release or communique so we can let everyone know about it on our homepage. Email us at action@eco-shout.org.

ACTIVE GROUPS DIRECTORY
Include your group in the directory so people can find you and get involved. To be included just fill in your details here and we'll post your information to the website. You may contact us at any time to update or add to your group's information.

JOBS NOTICE BOARD
Tell us about job vacancies, internships and any other opportunities for individuals as they arise in your organisation. You can post job vacancies directly to the notice board. If you accept applications on an ongoing basis throughout the year, post a permanent notice.

EVENTS CALENDAR
Post an event through the online form and it will go straight to our calendar. By using this universal calendar you can reach a wider audience and interest new people that don't yet know about your own site. The calendar receives over 170,000 hits a month from individuals looking for all different kinds of involvement in the environment.

HITCH A RIDE
Got a big event coming up out of town? Use our car pool Hitch a Ride to organise lifts for participants. List available transport options through the forum and let participants know they can use Hitch a Ride to look for or offer a lift.

SCAVENGER
Put a call out for resources for your group or project in the Swapya forum, or find worthy recipients of your old stuff.

GREENWASH
Got any good examples of groups/companies trying to cash in on environmental concern? Send us the details so we can expose them through the Greenwash

BECOME A MEMBER
As an organisational member of eco-shout your group will be aknowledged with a logo on the homepage and recognised as providing much needed support for small environment groups in Australia. We verify the contact details of our members twice a year to ensure their entry in the Active Groups directory is up to date. We also post any events promoted on your website or that you send us through email onto our Events Calendar. The events calendar is viewed by over 4000 regular users.
